Happenings @ Five Buck Host

As the first part of our new Specialty Hosting packages, we now offer a custom package with the MediaWiki software professionally installed by our staff. MediaWiki is a free software wiki package originally written for Wikipedia. It is now used by several other projects of the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation and by many other wikis. Now you can harness the power of Wiki software to build your own wiki web site. We are even working to expand our Knowledge Base to include help on building and managing your new wiki.

As an example of a specialty wiki site, check out the Railroad Depot, our first MediaWiki installation. We installed this software several months ago and have been beta testing the servers, software and support requirements so we could provide you with a great tool for building web site with user contributed content.
